Founded in 2015, Tienditas del Pueblo Genizaro de Abiquiu Marketing Cooperative is a community of artists and entrepreneurs working side-by-side to develop, improve, and promote small businesses (Tienditas) in the village of Abiquiu.

OUR MISSION
Community Growth
At Tienditas Del Pueblo GenÃzaro de Abiquiu Marketing Cooperative, we are committed to developing, improving, and promoting small businesses (Tienditas) in the village of Abiquiu, for a population of historically unserved and under-represented GenÃzaros/Hispanos. We recognize the value of integrating the cultural and historical foundation of the population served. We support local GenÃzaro/Hispano businesses; therefore, the association is formed for the following purposes:
To create and establish a cooperative for the benefit of members of the association and the GenÃzaro/Hispano community,
To provide a cooperative that promotes the local community,
To support and encourage the development of local businesses (Tienditas) which foster the long term and wellbeing of our physical, social/cultural, environment by including mentorship and empowerment of young adults.

SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAMS
Summer Reading Program
Annually, every summer, the Pueblo de Abiquiu Library and Cultural Center hosts a summer reading program for youth in the area.
